Our History
A timeless gem steeped in rich history;
Originally constructed in 1887, this charming building began its journey as a community church and Sunday school, serving as a cornerstone of faith and fellowship for generations.
Early Construction
Founded in 1887 by war veteran J.W. Sigmon, the church originally served as a Sunday school for the rural community of Iron Station, offering both spiritual guidance and a gathering place for local families. Its enduring legacy reflects a deep commitment to education and community spirit.
New Hope United Methodist
Refounded in 1893 under the guidance of trustees and Chairman, New Hope United Methodist Church rejuvenated its long-standing commitment to the community by officially aligning with the United Methodist Church, continuing its legacy of service and fellowship.
Renovation
Acquired in 2022 following the dissolution of New Hope United Methodist Church in 1997, the property has been carefully renovated to feature an updated reception hall, a lush new garden with scenic walkways, and a stunning terrace - while the historic chapel remains completely intact.
